背景-什么是学生津贴?

inequalities between children eligible for free school meals {FSM} and their wealthier peers by ensuring that funding to tackle disadvantage reaches the pupils who need it most.
The 学生保险费 is allocated to children from low-income families who are currently known to be eligible for FSM in both mainstream and non-mainstream settings and children who have been looked after continuously for more than six months.
The Government decided that eligibility for the 学生保险费 in 2012-13 would be extended to pupils who have been elgible for free school meals {FSM} at any point in the last 6 years. 作为一个全国性的团体, children who have been eligible for FSM at any point in time have consistently lower educational attainment than those who have never been eligible for FSM.
A premium has also been introduced for children whose parents are currently serving in the armed forces.

At Oasis Academy MediaCityUK we are determined in our mission to become ‘Outstanding’ through raised aspirations and educational outcomes for all students.
The targeted and strategic use of pupil premium will support us in achieving Oasis Academy MediaCityUK’s vision to enable all students to reach their full academic potential. In order to achieve this we have set out the following principles for use of the pupil premium funding.

- We ensure that teaching and learning opportunities meet the needs of all of the pupils.
- We ensure that appropriate provision is made for pupils who belong to vulnerable groups, this includes ensuring that the needs of socially disadvantaged pupils are adequately assessed and addressed.
- 为社会弱势学生提供帮助, we recognise that not all pupils who receive free school meals will be socially disadvantaged.
- We also recognise that not all pupils who are socially disadvantaged are registered or qualify for free school meals. We reserve the right to allocate the 学生保险费 funding to support any pupil, 或者是一群学生, 这所学校被认为在社会上处于不利地位是合理的.
- Pupil premium funding will be allocated following a needs analysis which will identify priority classes, 团体或个人.

All our work through the pupil premium will be aimed at accelerating progress to move children to at least age related expectations.
